Some quick photos of where this adventure began– a stop over back in Ontario for Christmas with my family. We had lovely weather and made many beautiful memories! Click on the photos to read about each one.
My mum and her family lived in Europe for three years while she was in high school. Her parent’s Christmas tree features some very special ornaments they acquired during that time. Here are a few of my favourites!
Some good laughs in the kitchen before Christmas dinner!
Preparations at the table pre-Christmas dinner!
A beautiful view of downtown Kingston, my home town!
A very special cousin coffee date a few days before Christmas.
Fruit salad in my Grama’s special fruit salad bowls. This set of dishes was gifted to her mother by Eaton when she went on maternity leave and has made appearances at all of our family meals that I can remember.
Our very favourite cheese factory- the Wilton Cheese Factory. If you’re ever in the Kingston area you have to try their cheese curds– they are to die for! Just make sure you don’t put them in the fridge or they will lose their wonderful texture.
A sunset view of the city.
