My first stop in Europe was St Andrews, Scotland. I arrived there by bus from the Glasgow airport. This is a beautiful university town where one of my best friends is going to school. My first day here was cloudy but not too cold. The best way to beat jet-lag is to get outside so as soon as I arrived we went for a walk to a beach near Lindsey’s house called Castle Sands, named for the ruins of an old castle that sits on a hill above it. It looks out onto the North Sea. We then continued on to the pier which we walked out on. Later that evening we went to a cute little pub called St Andrews Brewing Company for a cyder. It was an amazing first day! As always, click through the photos to learn more about them!

Hi, I'm Gabrielle. I am currently studying information design in Calgary, AB, Canada. I just returned from a semester abroad in Graz, Austria and am currently trying to figure out what I am doing... in life... I'm a little lost right now. I think I need a hobby that will help me put myself out there so I've decided to try blogging.... we will see how this goes! I love great design, learning about people, music, and am trying to love cooking. On this blog you will hopefully soon be able to find a bunch of posts about what-ever I am thinking about. If you are interested in what I do for work and school, you can check out my portfolio at gabrielledickson.myportfolio.com . Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you find something here that is interesting to you!
